Wasn't he one of the founders of the 'family values' movement?

Now Rasmussen has him up in Florida by about the same margin he had in SC.

I guess the nation's decline has been much steeper than I thought.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5721949869557533391.post-8828201055232863082012-01-22T05:20:07.466-08:002012-01-22T05:20:07.466-08:00A4, I cannot speak freely on this platform. Find a good marketing professional to sell your organization. To be a recognized political force the libertarians need more dues-paying members. Make hay while the sun shines. It's a shame you promote such a anti-American platform on open borders and immigration. It's an automatic deal-breaker for many of us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5721949869557533391.post-30141998885836296862012-01-21T20:34:06.856-08:002012-01-21T20:34:06.856-08:00Hello A4,

I am very disappointed Ron Paul will go all the way to California, but he will not do as well as he did in New Hampshire. I just believe you are putting the cart before the horse again."

I do not know what you mean with that statement. I will tell you this, Political action is not my top priority. I did have some hope for Ron Paul. But it looks as if it is not to be. However, even if Ron Paul got the Rep. Nomination, and went on to become President, there is nothing he could do to prevent the collapse of the US government and its money.

A4 said, "I suggest that you listen closely to the questions that the following videos present then come to a personal conclusion of whether or not your voice really matters or your vote really counts under our current system.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMp3fYmKVHg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBO02pkPUmQ"

I will listen and watch, but I doubt whether the content will change my direction. Pal's winning or loosing will not change my direction. And let me say this, while we seem to be talking to each other. IF ANY GOAL THAT YOU MAY BE WORKING TO ACCOMPLISH, IF THAT GOAL REQUIRES THE INITIATION OF FORCE TO ACCOMPLISH, THEN YOU ARE ON THE WRONG SIDE. Whether ir is stopping illegal immigration, or increasing the penality for drug use because of the damage it does to the population, you are on the wrong side.

A4 said, Hint: You won't change the system by telephoning or writing your congressman

This I know, and have known for decades.

A4 said, "or even by sending money to your candidate of choice."

I did have some hope in that direction. I see that with 95% of the SC vote counted that one of the most crooked and hypocritical morally deficient politicians of our time is winning by a landslide with 40% of the vote. The runner up is Romney with 27%. Santorum is 3rd with 17%. RP is essentially last with 13%.

Personally I don't trust vote counts anymore than I trust the Consumer Price Index or unemployment reports.

But for those of you who do trust vote counts you'll surely concur the SC GOP primary reflects badly on the state of our nation.

Incidently, Mr. McGlawn, thank you for the link to RSM's interview of Julian Assange. I think that should be the final nail in the coffin of investigative journalism worldwide. The message rings loud and clear.

I consider myself a very lucky man to have lived during the era of Watergate and the Pentagon Papers when journalists were actually honored for uncovering high-level scandals and promoting transparency.
